Oscar graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with first class honor in 2005. He then worked in the public hospital for ten years. During the period, he worked in different units, including surgical, neurology, intensive care, extended rehabilitation, paediatric and orthopaedic in-patient and out-patient units. With his rich clinical experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehabilitation, he developed interest in sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He attained his master’s degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010.
Oscar also believes in integration of acupuncture, manual therapy and exercise therapy in treating pain. He has diploma in Acupuncture from Sun Yat-Sen University (2007) and certificate in manual therapy From University of Western Australia (2013). He also received sports-related training overseas, such as level III Kinesio taping course from Canda and Hong Kong (2009,2014) and isokinetic muscle training course from the United States (2010) . He is also a certified advanced personal trainer. Oscar is specialized in treating neck, back pain, shoulder pain and knee injury.
Oscar is also keen in teaching and clinical research. His research area is mainly on taping and isokinetic training. He has published two research articles in 2012 and 2014 respectively. In June in 2015, he was invited to be a clinical educator for physiotherapy students at Chengdu.
